I have helped many renters buy their first home, and homeowners buy their 2nd and 3rd properties. Having an open and honest communication with their realtors, our lenders and Escrow/Title company has been key to a successful Close. It helps to be warm, positive and friendly too. I was born in El Salvador, a small country in Central America, the second son out of 5 brothers. My parent's descendants were Swiss and Spaniards at one point, but all of us were born there and consider ourselves Latinos. I came to the United States to get my engineering degree, soon after I graduated from High School, but ended up living here to develop my career. Some years later I became a US Citizen. Freedom of Speech was one of the many reasons I decided to stay and call this country my home, ready to serve and protect those rights. I worked as an electrical engineer for 15 years in the Bay Area but switched careers 6 years ago to Loan Consultant in order to be closer to my children. (I've lived in Brentwood for the past 14 years however). Another great decision in my life; I am loving every minute of it. And as it turned out I am a whiz at it, serving my community, giving them the best loans out there. I have 2 boys. Brad, who graduated from Liberty High (Brentwood), is now in College and on his own, I am proud to say. Morgan is 13 and goes to Adams Middle School here in Brentwood. They are nice boys raised to respect themselves, others beings, property, and care for the Earth, the only planet we have. When I am not doing loans you will find me on my bike, or walking with my son whenever we can. We enjoy camping, bike riding, swimming, and cooking. Yep, we both have developed an appreciation for nature's foods creating new ways to entice our appetites. When I want to relax you'll find me in my patio in my linen hammock enjoying a siesta to the rhythm of afternoon breezes.
If you enjoy chocolate without guilt, here is a terrific recipe Morgan and I put together after some trials.
